About this role
Must Have
- 3+ years of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) experience.
- 5+ years of VMware Aria Operations administration in large-scale, multi-datacenter environments.
- Experience with VMware Aria Suite products and automation tools.
- Hands-on Ansible automation experience.
- Linux (RHEL preferred) administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong VMware infrastructure expertise (vCenter, ESXi, clusters, networking).
Nice to Have
- Experience in secure, compliance-driven enterprise environments.
- Platform lifecycle management, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Perl) and REST API integration.
- ServiceNow, Jira, and Archer (or similar GRC tools).
- VCF SDDC Manager, NSX, and vSAN experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational support for enterprise VMware Aria and VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) platforms.
- Perform incident, problem, and change management activities.
- Lead troubleshooting for platform outages, performance issues, and integration failures.
- Execute platform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management activities.
- Develop and maintain Ansible automation solutions.
- Participate in capacity planning, health assessments, and architecture reviews.
- Create and maintain operational documentation, procedures, and runbooks.
- Partner with infrastructure, security, application, and engineering teams.
