Software Development Engineer, AWS Agentic AI

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is a leading technology company focused on cloud computing and AI services. The Software Development Engineer role in the AWS Agentic AI team involves building advanced systems for evaluating and optimizing autonomous AI agents, working on infrastructure and developer tooling to support GenAI and agentic systems. The position requires collaboration with various teams to enhance agent capabilities and ensure system reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement core runtime infrastructure components including control plane APIs, data plane execution environments, and deployment orchestration systems
• Develop monitoring, observability, and operational tooling to ensure production reliability and enable rapid incident response
• Collaborate with AWS Lambda, Bedrock, and open-source framework teams (LangChain, LangGraph, Strands) to integrate and optimize agent capabilities
• Contribute to technical strategy and architecture decisions for session management, identity/permissions, cross-account access, and security integrations
