QA Engineer

Moore is a data-driven constituent experience management company achieving accelerated growth for clients through integrated supporter experiences across all platforms, channels, and devices. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Engineer to join our team, responsible for testing software applications and ensuring the quality meets our high standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for our database and software applications
• Identify, document, track data and software defects with clear reproduction steps, expected results, actual results, severity, screenshots, query outputs, or supporting evidence, and work with the development team to resolve issues
• Create, maintain, and execute automated tests using various testing tools and frameworks
• Create smoke tests and user acceptance tests to ensure that the data process or software meets the acceptance criteria and is ready for production release
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, customer support, and stakeholders to ensure that the software is of the highest quality
• Perform ad-hoc testing, regression testing, and performance testing as required
• Create well-organized, repeatable, and clearly documented QA processes, including testing checklists, validation steps, expected results, and test evidence
• Continuously improve the software quality process by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• 3+ years of experience as a QA
• 2+ years of SQL experience
• 3+ years of experience in software testing
• Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestMo or similar tools
• Proficient Experience with CI/CD Pipelines
• Experience with dbt
• Experience testing data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, analytics models, dashboards, or reporting systems
• Cloud based development (Azure, AWS, etc.…)
• Experience with Snowflake database
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field
• AI tools for testing
