Position OverviewSeeking a highly experienced
Application Architect with deep expertise in
.NET, SQL Server, enterprise architecture, application modernization, and AI-assisted software development. The role will focus on designing secure, scalable, maintainable, and reusable enterprise applications while leading modernization initiatives and driving adoption of GitHub Copilot across development teams.
Key Responsibilities- Architect and design secure, scalable .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core) applications using Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and modern software engineering principles.
- Develop enterprise solution architectures spanning applications, APIs, databases, services, and integration platforms.
- Design and optimize SQL Server databases, including advanced T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, partitioning, query performance tuning, and HA/DR strategies.
- Define integration architectures involving REST APIs, messaging platforms, authentication mechanisms, and third-party systems.
- Lead adoption of GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development practices, including prompt engineering, automated testing, refactoring, code reviews, and documentation generation.
- Create architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and lead design and architecture review sessions.
- Establish coding standards, architecture governance, reusable frameworks, and enterprise best practices.
- Ensure compliance with security standards, WCAG 2.2 accessibility requirements, PII protection, and zero-trust security principles.
- Lead application modernization efforts, including migration of legacy systems to cloud-native architectures.
- Assess technical debt, develop modernization roadmaps, and define phased migration strategies.
- Implement modern software delivery practices, including source control standards, branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and DevSecOps processes.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and provide strategic recommendations aligned with long-term technology objectives.
- Provide technical leadership during project planning, estimations, proof-of-concepts, and architecture reviews
