GE Vernova is a purpose-built energy company on a mission to electrify and decarbonize the world. They are seeking a motivated Project Manager to support the execution of large-scale solar and battery energy storage projects across the Americas, providing hands-on experience managing multi-million-dollar projects and contributing directly to project success.
Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of utility-scale solar and BESS projects, gaining exposure to projects ranging from $10M to $200M in value
- Assist in managing customer relationships — learning to communicate effectively, resolve issues proactively, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Contribute to contract management activities including reporting, tracking receivables, monitoring change orders, and supporting claim resolution
- Track and report on key project metrics including safety, quality, schedule, cost, and cash flow under the guidance of senior project managers
- Coordinate with internal teams — working cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, finance, and field services to support product delivery and commissioning
- Maintain project documentation — keeping records, action logs, risk registers, and status reports accurate and up to date
- Participate in customer and internal meetings — developing your communication and stakeholder management skills in a professional setting
- Support a culture of safety and continuous improvement across all project activities
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree (Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field)
- 3–5 years of project management, engineering, or related professional experience (internship or co-op experience counts!)
- Fluent English communication skills — written and verbal
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- Academic or professional exposure to solar, BESS, or broader energy/power systems
- Internship or project experience in construction, engineering, or energy sectors
- Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar
- Knowledge of Lean or continuous improvement principles
- PMP certification or active pursuit of PMP credentials
