JOB TITLE: Switcher LOCATION: Martinsburg, WV
DEPARTMENT: Traffic REPORTS TO: Supervisor
DIVISION: Container Management GRADE:
FTE/PTE/TEMP FTE PTE Temp FLSA STATUS: Exempt Non-Exempt
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBLITIES
▪ Pull trailers as directed by Traffic personnel in dock doors.
▪ Complies with all Traffic procedures.
▪ Organizes trailers in the yard.
▪ Communicates and contributes to department goals and objectives.
▪ Communicates any equipment damage to Supervisor.
▪ Performs yard checks as directed by Supervisor.
▪ Performs other duties as assigned.
SPECIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE OR QUALIFICATIONS (List specific skills required but not defined in Dimensions)
▪ High School Diploma or equivalent experience
▪ Has active/current Driver’s License
▪ Good verbal communication skills
▪ Is able to organize and complete all necessary paperwork in English
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Activity Never Occasionally .25-2.5 hrs. daily Frequently 2.5-5.5 hrs. daily Continuously 5.5-8 hrs. daily
