GCP AI Engineer

Vertex Innovations is a technology-focused organization specializing in advanced cloud and AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). They are seeking a highly skilled GCP AI Engineer to architect, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade, multi-agent orchestration systems that help clients leverage data and machine learning to solve complex business problems.

Responsibilities:

• Architect Multi-Agent Systems: Design workflows using Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, Google Agent Development Kit (ADK), LangGraph, or CrewAI
• Complex Workflow Automation: Build long-running agents with multi-step reasoning capabilities (e.g., ReAct, hierarchical delegation, self-reflection)
• System Integration: Connect agents to enterprise systems (Oracle, BigQuery, Google Workspace, Jira, Salesforce) using custom APIs and Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• Agentic RAG: Build and optimize multi-agent Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines (Planner Agents, Query Rewriters, Orchestrators
• Governance & Access: Use Agent Registry for indexing; deploy Agent Gateway as a network control point
• Identity & Security: Implement Agent Identity (with mTLS) and Identity-Aware Proxy (IAP) to validate agent permissions against IAM policies
• AI Guardrails: Integrate Model Armor and Service Extensions to prevent prompt injection, hallucinations, and data leakage
• Safe Execution: Utilize Agent Sandbox isolated environments for code execution and browser automation
• CI/CD Deployment: Build production-grade ML pipelines on Google Cloud (Cloud Run, GKE)
• Observability & Evaluation: Create LLM-native evaluation pipelines (tracking tokens/sec, cost-per-request, context passing, and granular tracing)
