Business Development and Sales Manager

Outpost Mission Services LLC is a rapidly growing provider of end-to-end ground system field services. They are seeking a results-driven Business Development and Sales Manager to expand market share, build strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute business development strategies in coordination with the CSDO
• Generate leads with OEMs, federal integrators, and commercial and government clients through outreach, networking, and meetings
• Build and manage a robust sales pipeline from prospecting to close
• Establish and maintain long-term customer and partner relationships
• Lead sales presentations, contract negotiations, and deal closures
• Conduct market research and monitor industry trends and competitive activity
• Collaborate with internal teams to align goals and transition won opportunities to operations
• Track and report sales metrics, forecasts, and market insights
• Capture customer feedback to support improvements to products and services
• Prepare responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs for commercial and government clients

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or related field (experience may substitute)
• Five+ years in business development or sales, preferably in antenna, radar, satellite, or related industries
• Proven success generating new business and managing complex sales cycles
• Strong knowledge of sales methodologies, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and pipeline management
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Ability to leverage existing relationships and build new ones with key decision-makers
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or collaboratively
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AI tools, and CRM platforms
• Ability to travel up to 25%
• US citizenship and eligibility for a Secret clearance
• Established relationships with OEMs in radome, antenna, satellite ground stations, or radar sectors
• Experience securing federal contracts and managing federal integrator partnerships
• Active Secret or Top Secret clearance
• Ability to use AI and software tools for automated dashboarding and trend analysis
• Familiarity with strategic partnerships and digital marketing tools
