AI Senior Product Manager

TailorMed is on a mission to eliminate barriers across the entire medication journey, transforming healthcare affordability. As an AI Senior Product Manager, you will lead the development of AI-forward product initiatives that simplify healthcare workflows and enhance patient experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for a net-new AI-forward product area, building capabilities that streamline workflows and improve the medication journey
• Lead 0-1 initiatives that bring AI-driven solutions into complex healthcare processes, while establishing best practices for responsible and scalable AI adoption at TailorMed
• Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle—from discovery and validation through launch and ongoing optimization— embedding AI capabilities into the product, informed by real-world performance data and user behavior insights
• Design solutions that address key healthcare workflow challenges, including documentation requirements, clinical data capture, rule variation across stakeholders, submissions, follow-up workflows, exception handling, and communication with patients
• Own product analytics and AI performance monitoring, including defining success metrics such as cycle times, drop-off points, throughput, workflow efficiency, model performance, and impact
• Partner closely with engineering and data teams, write PRDs, translate market needs into clear requirements (including AI/data requirements), and mitigate technical, regulatory, and model-related risks to meet milestones
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, customer success, clinical, compliance, strategy and commercial teams to ensure AI solutions align with real-world customer workflows, desired patient experience, regulatory standards, and market dynamics
• Define and measure end-to-end program impact, ensuring insights directly inform roadmap, prioritization, model iteration, and strategic investment
• Own the integration of AI capabilities and this product area into TailorMed’s broader product ecosystem, driving cohesion, governance, and consistency across platforms

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Deep expertise in AI-driven product innovation, AI ethics, and AI in the healthcare landscape
• 5+ years of product management experience in healthcare technology, digital health, or enterprise SaaS, including B2B and/or B2B2C products
• Experience building or supporting complex healthcare workflow products, such as: provider-facing platforms; utilization or administrative workflow tools; specialty medication access solutions; rules-based automation systems; enterprise healthcare workflow software
• Strong understanding of the medication access landscape
• Experience using AI to drive product innovation
• Demonstrated strength in product analytics and data-driven decision-making, including funnel optimization, experimentation, and outcome measurement
• Strong multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment in growth mode
• Builder mindset with experience taking products from early discovery through MVP and scaling
• Strong business orientation, with the ability to connect product strategy to commercial and customer outcomes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across clinical, operational, and technical teams
• Experience working in agile development environments, with a strong grasp of modern product methodologies and best practices
• MBA or advanced degree preferred
