Application Engineer, Tecnomatix

Geometric Solutions, a Siemens PLM Software partner, is actively seeking an Applications Engineer to join their team. This role involves providing technical sales support, creating demos, and developing training to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical sales support (Pre & Post sales)
• Create demos and present to customers based on various functions
• Develop and present technical training
• Construct proposals and estimate applicable hours
• Customer Relationship Management: Write reports and communicate results, issues, & recommendations to the customer

Requirements:

• BS in Engineering discipline or equivalent work experience
• Project management and customer support experience
• Understanding and/or experience in Design and Manufacturing process
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Basic understanding of CAD/CAM
• Excellent communication skills
• Problem-solving experience in a manufacturing plant setting
• Knowledge of Siemens products such as NX, Teamcenter, Tecnomatix: Process Designer, Process Simulate, Plant Simulation, and VSA
• Understanding of Discrete Event Simulation
• Understanding of Robotic Systems and Automation
