SkillBridge Intern - Software Engineer

Rise8 builds custom, secure software for government organizations, measuring success by impact. As a Software Engineer intern, you will drive software innovation, educate clients on agile methodologies, and collaborate with teams to deliver reliable software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Drive software innovation and client collaboration
• Lead the charge in introducing concepts like design thinking, test-driven development, and continuous deployment
• Develop working software and educate clients on the value of agile methodologies
• Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams
• Deliver user-driven functionality and ensure the reliability and continuous improvement of software solutions
• Thrive in a pair-programming environment and contribute to the growth and success of engineering practices

Requirements:

• Currently on active duty and eligible for SkillBridge
• Possess a growth mindset
• Demonstrated grit, resilience, and determination to overcome obstacles and achieve goals
• U.S. citizenship
• Entry level experience or certifications for the role you are applying for
