Senior Software Engineer - New Customer Experience

Pantheon is a company that powers over 300,000 websites globally, and they are seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their New Customer Experience team. The role involves enhancing the customer journey on their platform by collaborating with various departments and working with diverse technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Improving the end-to-end experience for new customers adopting the Pantheon platform
• Work on a variety of technologies, including Python services, our GraphQL gateway, authentication and authorization systems using Auth0, and infrastructure managed with Terraform on Google Cloud

Requirements:

• 5-8+ years of professional experience in software development
• Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python, GoLang, or JavaScript
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS) and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes)
• Experience with RESTful and Graphql APIs
• Proven ability to independently solve problems and drive projects to completion
• Experience with authentication and authorization systems, including Auth0
• Passion for continuous learning on a diverse technical stack
• Desire to build new features and push the capabilities of the product forward
• Capacity to work carefully and meticulously, to ensure products are reliable and well tested, and deployments are stable
• Good writing skills, to contribute to technical documentation
• Ability to work well with cross-functional teams
