DevOps Engineer

R Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Lead Software Developer / DevOps Engineer to lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-level software solutions supporting large-scale government initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in software architecture, application development, Azure DevOps, Agile delivery, and technical leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-level software solutions supporting large-scale government initiatives
• Collaboration with business stakeholders, project managers, architects, and cross-functional development teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality software solutions

Requirements:

• Minimum seven (7) years of experience in electronic data processing systems analysis, software design, application development, and programming
• Minimum four (4) years of experience serving in a technical lead, development lead, or equivalent leadership role
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related Engineering discipline
• Additional qualifying experience may substitute for the required Bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis. Candidates substituting education must possess a minimum of nine (9) years of qualifying experience
• Possession of a valid Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) certification
• Up to three (3) additional years of experience beyond the mandatory minimum
• Experience delivering software solutions for federal, state, or local government agencies
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise modernization initiatives
• Experience with Agile software development using user-centered design and iterative development principles
• Experience working in highly regulated environments with security and compliance requirements
