WINTrio LLC is seeking two highly experienced Senior Data Scientists to support Federal agencies in delivering advanced analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), fraud detection, and investigative data solutions. The successful candidates will design predictive models, analyze large structured and unstructured datasets, develop Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions, and collaborate with investigators, engineers, and business stakeholders to identify fraud, improper payments, anomalies, and emerging risks.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain advanced AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics models
- Build supervised and unsupervised machine learning solutions for fraud detection, anomaly detection, and predictive analysis
- Develop analytic rules and models using industry-leading fraud analytics methodologies and best practices
- Perform statistical analysis using regression, classification, clustering, ensemble learning, Bayesian techniques, and predictive modeling
- Analyze, cleanse, validate, and integrate large structured, semi-structured, and unstructured datasets
- Develop and scale Natural Language Processing (NLP), OCR, semantic similarity, and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions
- Support Federal audit and criminal investigation activities by providing analytical insights and investigative data support
- Develop dashboards, visualizations, executive summaries, and technical reports using Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and related analytics tools
- Automate analytical processes using Python, SharePoint, SQL, and cloud-native technologies
- Present methodologies, findings, and recommendations to technical teams, executive leadership, and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to optimize cloud-based analytics environments and machine learning pipelines
- Document analytical methodologies, production models, validation results, and supporting technical artifacts
Requirements:
- Master's degree, Ph.D., or doctorate in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field; or ten (10) years of equivalent professional experience
- Minimum five (5) years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced AI systems and predictive machine learning models
- Minimum five (5) years of experience developing fraud analytics solutions, statistical models, and predictive algorithms
- Minimum three (3) years of experience supporting fraud investigations, criminal investigations, audit analytics, or regulatory compliance programs
- Minimum three (3) years of professional Python development experience with Pandas
- Minimum three (3) years of experience working within Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform environments
- Minimum two (2) years of experience performing advanced SQL development using SQL Server and PostgreSQL
- Minimum two (2) years of experience developing and deploying Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions
- Experience presenting analytical methods, visualizations, and findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting Federal Government agencies
- Experience supporting fraud detection, financial crime analytics, or investigative analytics
- Experience developing cloud-native AI and machine learning solutions
- Experience working within Azure analytics environments
- Experience supporting compliance-driven and mission-critical programs
- Experience working in Agile development environments
