We’re strengthening our Business Analytics teams with an Advanced Analytics Specialist.

Key Responsibilities in this role include:

- Active collaboration with business stakeholders
- Act as a bridge between business, data and analytics by aligning goals, definitions, and data usage across the organization.
- Turn analytics opportunities and analysis into practical recommendations together with experts and decision-makers and prioritize use cases based on business impact.
- Acting as a subject matter expert within the team by supporting colleagues
- Act as an expert for advanced analytics methodologies, tools, and best practices for other team members and business stakeholders.
- Support the team’s competence development in areas such as optimization, data science, AI tools, and modern analytics practices.
- Handling the end-to-end process of translating business requirements into data-driven solutions.
- Drive analytics work from business problems/need to methodology selection, modelling, analysis, conclusions, and usage support.
- Take ownership of your contributions while collaborating closely with colleagues, stakeholders, and subject-matter experts.
- Ensure traceability and quality by documenting assumptions, decisions, and results, and by monitoring performance after implementation.
- Building and developing advanced analytics solutions
- Build and apply analytical models, such as simulations, forecasting, statistical and optimization models, as well machine learning methods depending on solution needed to support data-driven decision making.
- Improve and automate existing models and pipelines by leveraging new data sources, methods, and technologies to increase business value.
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
- You have a university degree, preferably M.Sc. or Ph.D., in mathematics, economics, computer science, engineering, operations research, statistics, or a related field
- Proven experience analyzing and generating insights on user behavior and customer journeys across digital channels to identify trends in customer base.
- Proven experience on analytical models, such as simulations, forecasting, statistical and optimization models, as well machine learning methods.
- Strong stakeholder collaboration and ability to clearly communicate data-driven insights and lead discussions with stakeholders.
- Commercial mindset with a focus on actionable insights and continuous improvement.
- Proactive, self-driven approach to creating and presenting insights and recommendations to business stakeholders.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Considered as an advantage:
- Experience in gambling and money gaming as a business, as well as B2C customer & product analytics.
- Advanced knowledge of (digital) analytics and data tools such as BigQuery, Power BI, GA4 and Python. Experience with data modelling and building datasets or data marts.
- Knowledge and experience from A/B testing.
- Practical experience of using generative AI or large language models in analytics, perhaps even experience on developing AI-assisted tools, agent workflows, or automated solutions.

This is a permanent, full-time position in our Operational Analytics & Insight unit and the position is located in our headquarters (Helsinki, Finland) and we work in hybrid model 3 days in a week on-site.
