
1. Technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills required to effectively evaluate the condition of electrical systems.
2. Understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution (DB, MCC, SMB, SMDM&MDB), lighting Control Panel, Emergency Diesel generators, Automatic Transfer switch, Power factor correction system, UPS/CBS Emergency lighting, switchgear, and control systems.
3. Ability to identify and diagnose issues in electrical systems, such as faulty wiring, overloaded circuits, and outdated equipment.
4. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools like Insulation resistance Tester, multimeters, leakage tester, Portable appliance tester, clamp meters, and infrared cameras.
5. Experience in inspecting electrical equipment (e.g., circuit breakers, panels, motors, generators) for wear, damage, and inefficiency.
6. Knowledge of preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance practices.
7. Strong understanding of electrical safety practices, including lockout/tagout procedures, arc flash safety, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
8. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
9. Knowledge about energy saving practice LED lighting, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and starters
1. Basic English knowledge and Proficiency in documenting findings, preparing condition reports, and recommending corrective actions.
2. Findings associated with electrical systems, to assess performance and condition such as fire hazards and equipment failure.
3. Familiarity with facility management software CMMS/CAFM, and tools for data collection and analysis.
4. Preparing clear, concise, and accurate condition assessment reports.
