Creative Studio Graduate
About the Role
This is a 2 year graduate role within the JD Group Studio Creative team. Designed for a motivated candidate, this is a hands-on, immersive opportunity that bridges the gap between creative theory and real-world studio experience.
You’ll be fully embedded within a fast-paced, commercially driven environment, contributing to work across campaigns, social and digital outputs for one of the UK’s most recognisable sportswear and fashion brands.
This isn’t a passive role, from day one, you’ll collaborate with, photographers, videographers, creatives, designers, retouchers and producers to deliver real work.
You’ll gain exposure to the full lifecycle of creative projects, from interpreting briefs and contributing to ideation, through to execution and delivery. With guidance from experienced team members and your manager, you'll follow a structured two-year development plan designed to grow both your creative thinking and technical craft — progressing from social channel-focused content delivery in year one to campaign-level creative leadership by year two.
Year One (Foundations): Organic Social, Paid Media & Digital Creative
Building craft, pace and commercial instinct through high-volume, channel-first content delivery.
Primary focus: Social & paid media content
Output types: Organic social, paid ads, e-commerce assets
Working style: Supported, collaborative, reactive
• Support with creation and ideation of paid and organic social content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and emerging channels, studio and on set.
• On set support producing digital focused site imagery across footwear, apparel and accessories.
• Learn how to interpret briefs quickly and translate them into channel-appropriate creative executions.
• Work alongside retouchers, producers and designers to understand how the full studio pipeline operates.
• Develop working knowledge of performance metrics and how creative decisions affect paid media outcomes.
• Build confidence with Adobe Creative Suite across a range of fast-turnaround production tasks.
• Contribute to content testing, asset variants and format adaptation across platforms.
• Helping maintain brand consistency and visual quality across all touchpoints.
Year Two (Growth): Campaigns
Applying creative thinking at a larger scale, with more autonomy and providing support to senior team members on campaigns from brief to delivery.
Primary focus: Global campaigns & tactical launches
Output types: Campaign concepts, multi-market assets
Working style: Collaborative, strategic, cross-functional
• Contribute to the ideation and development of global campaign concepts, working across multiple markets and brand voices.
• Support the delivery of tactical campaign launches tied to product drops, seasonal moments and brand partnerships.
• Collaborate with brand, marketing and buying teams to align creative with commercial priorities.
• Develop an understanding of how creative strategy differs across global markets, adapting tone, format and visual approach accordingly.
• Support with presentation of creative concepts to stakeholders across the business.

What Courses We’re Looking For
We welcome applicants from a wide range of creative disciplines. The strongest candidates will typically come from courses with a practical, visual or digital production focus.
Primary areas:
• Photography (commercial, fashion, product)
• Graphic Design or Visual Communication
• Digital or Creative Media Production
• Fashion Media or Communication
• Film & Television Production (creative or post-production pathways)
Also relevant:
• Fashion-related courses with a strong visual portfolio
• Advertising, Art Direction or Creative Direction
Ultimately, your portfolio, ideas and approach matter more than your course.
Skills & Attributes
Essential:
• A strong portfolio demonstrating creative thinking and visual execution
• Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of design and visual principles
• Attention to detail and consistency in output
• Ability to interpret briefs and respond creatively
• Good organisation and time management
• Clear communication and ability to articulate ideas
• A positive, proactive and collaborative mindset
Desirable:
• Experience working on creative or content projects
• Knowledge of multi-channel content (social, e-commerce, campaign)
• Familiarity with programmes like Powerpoint, Adobe suite
• An understanding of colour, composition and visual storytelling
