ECCO Select is a talent acquisition and consulting company specializing in people, process and technology solutions. They are seeking a Sr. Project Manager to oversee the operational and tactical delivery of complex projects, particularly for federal and global financial customers.
Responsibilities:
- As a Sr. Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operational and tactical delivery of multiple, complex projects, spanning a variety of technology domains
- Your primary objective will be to plan, organize, and manage all phases of project execution, with a particular focus on delivering for federal and global financial customers
- Your daily activities will include creating and maintaining comprehensive work breakdown structures (WBS), mapping interdependencies, and proactively managing project scope and changes
- You will have responsibility for tracking project progress and reporting status to both internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring that projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with organizational targets and customer expectations
- The role involves close coordination across cross-functional teams and the implementation of engagement review and quality assurance processes to drive project success
- Key duties include managing resource plans, overseeing deliverable timelines, establishing and executing effective communication strategies, ensuring high-quality documentation, leading risk management efforts, and overseeing project financials—including budget, forecasting, and profitability analysis
- You will also be responsible for continuously improving project execution by leveraging industry-leading project management tools and best practices, contributing to superior customer satisfaction and achievement of business objectives
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Technical Project Manager, leading customer-facing projects within Professional Services or Managed Services organizations
- Proven ability to manage and deliver projects in one or more technology areas: Networking, Storage, Virtualization, Cloud, Security, or Unified Communications (Collaboration)
- Experience working with global financial clients and managing complex, multisite technology deployments (e.g. wireless, Wi-Fi, POS systems), with a demonstrated track record of successful delivery
- In-depth knowledge of project management frameworks, with hands-on experience in building WBS, defining project tasks, and managing project timelines and interdependencies
- Strong financial management skills, including project budgeting, financial forecasting, utilization tracking, and profitability analysis
- Rapid learner of new project management and project tracking platforms (such as Empower) and skilled with mainstream project management software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of distilling complex project details and presenting to diverse audiences, including high-level stakeholders
- Demonstrated expertise in risk identification, assessment, and mitigation, delivering clear, actionable risk management plans to leaders and stakeholders
- Proficient in developing, documenting, and executing communication plans and stakeholder engagement strategies, ensuring cross-functional alignment throughout the project's lifecycle
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectively within fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Expertise in documentation, stakeholder and change management, and issue resolution practices
- Experience in resource planning, building, and leading teams composed of diverse, cross-discipline professionals
- Customer-focused, committed to delivering exceptional project outcomes and exceeding client satisfaction benchmarks
- Demonstrated ability to streamline and improve project processes using industry best practices, tools, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Consistent track record of ensuring timely, high-quality execution of deliverables across multiple concurrent high-impact projects
- Bachelor's degree required

- Experience with Clarity or similar project accounting platforms is a plus
- PMP and/or CAPM certification highly desired
