Senior GCP DevOps Engineer

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and a passion for building and maintaining effective cloud infrastructures. The role involves designing, deploying, and managing GCP solutions to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Control and support customer environments in Google Cloud Platform
• Consult customers regarding technical elements such as installation, sizing, and scaling
• Support development teams by addressing technical CI/CD inquiries and enhancing delivery processes
• Develop and oversee CI/CD processes with a focus on automation
• Manage and optimize the complete release cycle

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting Google Cloud production systems
• Familiarity with AI tools and techniques
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline management and development
• Skills in using container management and orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes, Mesos, and Docker Swarm
• Competency in working with package managers like Helm
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code methodologies and tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Knowledge of IT security elements, including encryption, certificates, key management, security mechanisms, and compliance practices
• English proficiency at level B2 or higher
