Job Summary

We are seeking two React Developers with experience building modern web applications who are interested in working within the Microsoft SharePoint ecosystem. These consultants will support a business-critical SharePoint application that enables quarterly strategic planning across the organization.

The application was originally developed using React and the SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and is transitioning into long-term operational support. The selected consultants will work alongside an experienced member of the team during the initial knowledge transfer period before assuming ownership of ongoing enhancements, maintenance, and feature development.

The ideal candidates will possess strong React development skills, demonstrate the ability to quickly learn SharePoint-specific development practices, and provide technical strength to an existing support team.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing development and maintenance of a React-based SharePoint application.
• Implement stakeholder enhancement requests ranging from small feature improvements to larger application enhancements.
• Work alongside an experienced developer during knowledge transfer and application transition.
• Develop new functionality using React and the SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
• Work with SharePoint Lists and SharePoint-hosted data structures.
• Troubleshoot application issues and resolve defects.
• Participate in application support, enhancement planning, and technical discussions.
• Help establish long-term ownership of the application following transition from the original development team.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience developing applications with React.
• Experience building modern JavaScript web applications.
• Ability to quickly learn SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Comfortable working within an existing application and enhancing established functionality.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate during knowledge transfer.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft SharePoint development.
• SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
• SharePoint SDK.
• SharePoint Lists and other SharePoint-native components.
• Experience supporting enterprise internal business applications.
