Cognizant is a leading provider of technology services, and they are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead business analysis activities and drive requirement clarity across client engagements. The role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives and deliver measurable value.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end business analysis activities, including gathering, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements
- Analyze complex business problems and recommend scalable solutions leveraging ServiceNow capabilities
- Develop business cases, assess feasibility, and present solution options including risks, trade-offs, and benefits
- Drive process improvements through root cause analysis, documentation, and optimization of workflows and controls
- Act as a bridge between clients and technical teams, ensuring alignment of deliverables with business needs while mentoring junior analysts
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including business process design and improvement
- 3+ years of experience working on technology-driven projects
- Strong expertise in requirements gathering, business case development, and stakeholder management
- ITIL v3 or v4
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Business Process for Implementation
- Experience with ServiceNow implementations and service management frameworks
- Certifications such as Six Sigma, Agile/Scrum, TOGAF, Prosci, or CPDE
- Proficiency with analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Visio, UML, BPMN, data mapping, Excel)
- Experience supporting demos, test scenarios, and QA collaboration
- Strong leadership skills with experience coaching or mentoring Business Analysts
