Data Engineer

IFG - International Financial Group is hiring for a remote contract opportunity with Microsoft supporting one of the world's largest data center environments. The role involves analyzing large-scale telemetry data, ensuring data quality, and developing dashboards to drive data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze large-scale telemetry and operational data from data center infrastructure
• Perform data quality validation and ensure data accuracy across multiple sources
• Develop interactive Power BI dashboards and KPI reporting
• Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational improvements
• Automate reporting and data validation processes
• Partner with engineering, operations, and program management teams to drive data-driven decisions

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Engineering
• Data Center or Critical Infrastructure experience (required)
• Strong SQL skills
• Power BI dashboard development
• Data Quality, Data Validation, and Data Integrity
• Experience analyzing telemetry or operational data
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Python or PowerShell
• Tableau
• IoT or sensor data experience
• Experience with power, cooling, or environmental systems in data centers
