Info Way Solutions is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer for their Cloud Foundations team. This role involves building secure cloud foundations required for FedRAMP High and IL5, and requires an independent engineer capable of managing large features with minimal guidance.
Responsibilities:
- Build and operate AWS GovCloud foundations for FedRAMP High and IL5
- Implement and maintain AWS Organizations, Control Tower, account provisioning lifecycle, and account automation
- Build reusable Infrastructure-as-Code modules and standardized cloud patterns
- Support cloud resource management including VPC patterns, IAM, prefix lists, and account-level controls
- Build and maintain Cloud Foundations services for federal environments
- Partner with engineering teams to translate FedRAMP High and IL5 requirements into cloud architecture
- Participate in production support, responder duties, ticket triage, and cloud support
- Produce documentation, runbooks, and operational records
- Provide technical guidance to engineering teams adopting secure cloud standards
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in SRE, Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Software
- Hands-on experience with AWS Multi-Account Environments
- Hands-on experience with AWS Organizations
- Hands-on experience with IAM
- Hands-on experience with Terraform
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Governance
- Experience building automation using Python, Go, Ruby, or similar languages
- Experience with Control Tower
- Experience with Account Factory for Terraform
- Experience with CloudFormation
- Experience with EventBridge
- Experience with Lambda
- Experience with SQS
- Experience with IAM Identity Center
- Strong understanding of cloud reliability, security, cost management, and developer experience
