Job Summary
The Manager of Day Treatment’s role is to oversee the clinical operations of the Seeds of Change Day Treatment/IOP program while providing low-barrier, “on-demand” and ongoing group substance use disorder (SUD) treatment to SFH guests. This includes balancing supervisory and direct service duties, supporting the Associate Director of Behavioral Health in the clinical supervision of staff and interns in addition to providing direct service of guests, carrying a small caseload of individual guests and providing group therapy treatment within the Seeds of Change program. The Manager of Day Treatment is a key participant in the agency’s continued development of Seeds of Change as part of our menu of SUD-related services that currently include harm reduction for those who are still actively using and peer-based recovery support for individuals in recovery, providing thoughtful oversight of programmatic needs in alignment with SFH values. An important part of this work will be focused on engagement, developing a presence in SFH milieu spaces where guests gather, to build therapeutic connections and encourage participation in treatment services, when appropriate and indicated. The Manager of Day Treatment will work collaboratively with an integrated team of providers at SFH to support and stabilize our guests across all facets of their lives.
