
This is a casual (per diem) position working varied 8-hour shifts, primarily day shift; however, flexibility to cover PM and overnight shifts may be required. The role requires scheduling flexibility throughout the week, including weekends, holidays, and participation in the on-call rotation with staff. This position is located at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas.

Required Qualifications:
• ARRT(MR), ARMRIT, or CRT
• Completion of a venipuncture class. Certificate must be provided at the time of application; 10 successful sticks must be completed within 30 days of hire.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Completion of a formal training/educational program from an approved school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent education and experience in radiologic imaging obtained through a hospital-based training program or other formalized on-the-job training program, combined with current licensure/certification
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an MRI Technician
• Experience working with multiple pacemaker programmers
• Experience performing MRI scans on patients with MRI Conditional pacemakers
• Experience scanning patients with other implanted electronic devices, including neurostimulators
• Experience reviewing implanted device documentation and identifying MRI conditions and requirements
• Experience appropriately clearing implanted devices for MRI scheduling in accordance with established protocols
Preferred Qualifications:
• Cardiac MRI experience
• Strong background in MRI safety; MRSO certification preferred
• Experience working with Siemens and Tesla MRI scanners
