As our Infrastructure Architect, you will be the cornerstone of our cloud foundation designing resilient, secure, and scalable infrastructure that powers mission-critical enterprise applications. Your expertise in infrastructure sizing, capacity planning, and disaster recovery ensures business continuity even in the most demanding scenarios.
This role is pivotal because you won't just implement solutions you'll architect them. From crafting end-to-end security frameworks to designing high-availability systems with failover capabilities, your decisions will directly impact our customers' operational excellence and security posture.

What You'll Do/
Job Description of Role* (RNR) - To be Evaluated by Technical Panel (Define it to give more clarity)
Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure architectures on Azure, including VNets, Subnets, NSGs, and Load Balancers.
Lead infrastructure sizing and capacity planning initiatives to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency.
Architect high availability and disaster recovery solutions, including DR design, failover strategies, and business continuity planning.
Design and develop reusable Terraform modules for infrastructure-as-code (IaC) deployments, ensuring consistency across environments.
Create end-to-end security architecture frameworks incorporating Zero Trust principles, WAF, Private Endpoints, and security baselines.
Design and implement network connectivity solutions including VNet peering, VPN, ExpressRoute, and Direct Connect.
Develop hub-spoke network architectures with proper segmentation, DNS configuration, and routing strategies.
Conduct security hardening and establish security baselines for cloud infrastructure components.
Optimize network latency and performance across distributed cloud environments.
Collaborate with application teams, security teams, and stakeholders to align infrastructure designs with business requirements.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to infrastructure teams on best practices and emerging cloud technologies.
Document architecture decisions, design patterns, and operational procedures for knowledge sharing and compliance.

What Success Looks Like (6 12 Months) -
Expected Outcome
6-Month Milestones:
Complete assessment of existing infrastructure and document current architecture landscape across Azure/AWS environments.
Design and implement at least two reusable Terraform modules for standardized infrastructure deployments.
Establish security baselines and hardening guidelines for cloud infrastructure components.
Deliver a comprehensive high availability and disaster recovery strategy with documented failover procedures.
Build strong working relationships with application teams and security stakeholders.
12-Month Milestones:
Architect and deploy a fully operational hub-spoke network topology with proper segmentation and Zero Trust implementation.
Achieve measurable improvements in infrastructure provisioning time through IaC automation (target: 50% reduction).
Successfully execute at least one DR failover test with documented results and continuous improvement recommendations.
Establish infrastructure sizing and capacity planning frameworks that optimize cost while meeting performance SLAs.
Become the go-to technical authority for cloud infrastructure decisions, providing guidance on VNet peering, ExpressRoute/Direct Connect, and security architecture.
Document and share best practices, contributing to the team's knowledge base and mentoring junior team members.
