Vellox Product Designer

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Product Designer to create polished experiences for enterprise security and intelligence products. The role involves translating complex user needs into user-friendly interfaces and collaborating closely with product managers and engineers throughout the design process.

Responsibilities:

• Design intuitive and elegant interfaces that balance visual craft, usability, and implementation feasibility across data-dense enterprise products
• Create wireframes, high-fidelity designs, interactive prototypes, and production-ready specifications that clearly communicate design intent
• Design AI-native and agentic interaction patterns, including conversational interfaces, multi-step assisted flows, and AI-driven task orchestration
• Translate product requirements and user needs into clear, compelling design solutions that support clarity, speed, and precision for security and analyst users
• Partner with product managers and engineers throughout discovery, design, implementation, launch, and post-release iteration
• Read and write front-end code as needed to accelerate prototyping, improve implementation quality, and strengthen design-engineering collaboration
• Contribute to and govern a shared design system, including token architecture, component specifications, visual standards, and design decision records
• Create commercial-grade design assets that scale across products and hold up in production environments
• Iterate rapidly based on stakeholder feedback, usage signals, and recurring design critique
• Ensure consistency, accessibility, and quality across user touchpoints using WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 compliance as baseline standards
