Software Development Engineer II, Climate Pledge Friendly

Amazon launched the Climate Pledge Friendly program in 2020 to help customers make sustainable purchase decisions. The Software Development Engineer II will be responsible for creating innovative shopping experiences and scalable solutions that enhance customer engagement with sustainable products.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing engaging and innovative shopping experiences focused on sustainable products
• Building scalable solutions to identify and engage with customers
• Improving the customer's search and browse experience on the website by providing relevant information about a product's environmental impact

Requirements:

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
