Jr Data engineer (Snowflake/ powerBI)

Type : 18 months contract to Hire

Client: Global firm

Location: Secaucus, NJ

Pay : Depending on experience

Work 4 days/ week in office.

Need In-person interview at Secaucus.

Yeas of experience max : 1-5 years (Pay range will vary accordingly)

Key Tech Stack : Snowflake, SSIS, Tableau

This is a new initiative. This position will also eventually give opportunity for the candidate to learn AI tools and Cloud technologies.

Looking for dynamic fresh grads with a minimum of Bachelors in Computer Science and a willingness to learn and adapt to new tech challenges.

Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using Snowflake as the primary cloud data warehouse
Hands on experience or strong academic knowledge of Snowflake, including data loading, warehousing concepts, and query optimization.
Write clean, efficient SQL queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources.
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau to support business decision-making.
Collaborate with analysts and business teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Monitor data pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes in a timely manner.
Support data quality initiatives
Assist in the design and implementation of data models within Snowflake (star schema, data vault, etc.).
Participate in code reviews

Required:

Snowflake: Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, Snowpipe. Develop Cortex AgentsSQL

SSIS Development, Deployment, Monitoring.

SQL Queries

Analytics

Tableau: Development and Backend Administration

PowerBI: Good to have
