Job Title: NPI (New Product Introduction) Engineer / Senior NPI Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
NPI Engineer
to lead the end-to-end New Product Introduction (NPI) process from project kick-off through series production. The ideal candidate will drive prototype, pilot, and production ramp-up activities while ensuring manufacturing readiness, cross-functional coordination, and smooth transition from product development to mass production.
Key Responsibilities

Own and manage the complete NPI lifecycle from project kick-off to mass production.

Develop, maintain, and release NPI build plans, project timelines, and milestone tracking.

Coordinate prototype, pilot, pre-production, and production builds with cross-functional teams.

Ensure manufacturing readiness, including:

Materials availability
-
Tooling readiness
-
Manufacturing programs
-
Fixtures and test equipment
-
Production documentation
-
Drive seamless transition from engineering development to manufacturing.

Review and understand product drawings, schematics, BOMs, and engineering change requests.

Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to resolve build issues.

Identify manufacturing risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Monitor build progress, analyze production issues, and drive continuous process improvements.
-
Ensure compliance with quality standards and manufacturing best practices.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

5-8 years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), Manufacturing Engineering, or Production Engineering.

Hands-on experience with:

FAI (First Article Inspection)

Experience in manufacturing process validation and process optimization.

Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing and quality issues during NPI builds.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project tracking tools; experience with ERP/PLM systems is an added advantage.
