Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Epic Certified Analyst to support Patient Experience and Patient Access operations. This role focuses on optimizing and supporting core access workflows including scheduling, registration, referrals, and patient engagement tools. The analyst will ensure efficient, high-quality patient access experiences through strong Epic build, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization.
Key Responsibilities

Build, configure, and maintain Epic Patient Access applications, including Epic Cadence and Epic Prelude

Support and optimize referral workflows, ensuring accurate routing, processing, and follow-up

Maintain and enhance scheduling build including visit types, decision trees, and scheduling rules

Support and troubleshoot patient engagement workflows within Epic MyChart
-
Resolve Help Desk tickets related to Cadence, Prelude, MyChart, and referral workflows in accordance with SLAs
-
Support Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) processes and ensure accurate insurance verification
-
Partner with Patient Access, Revenue Cycle, and clinical operations teams to improve workflows and user experience

Participate in system testing, validation, and implementation of enhancements and upgrades

Analyze access-related issues and recommend system or workflow improvements
Requirements
Required Certifications
Candidates must be certified in the following Epic applications:

Required Experience & Skills

Strong hands-on experience in Epic Patient Access environments

Deep knowledge of:

Decision Trees

Visit Types configuration and maintenance

Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) workflows

Referral workflows and scheduling optimization
-
Help Desk ticket resolution and end-user support
-
Experience working in healthcare IT, preferably supporting Epic access applications

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced support environment
Work Arrangement

40 hours per week (full-time)

Approximately 25% travel required for onsite support, meetings, or operational needs
