Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, part of Danaher, is a global leader in clinical diagnostics focused on improving patient health. The Senior Project Manager will oversee multi-discipline installations in clinical laboratories, managing project plans and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the entire implementation lifecycle of mid to large-scale multi-discipline installations within Clinical Laboratory settings
- Develop and execute instrumentation project plans, ensuring customer readiness and adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards
- Coordinate and collaborate with various stakeholders, including laboratory directors, engineers, technicians, and vendors to ensure successful project implementation
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of laboratory infrastructure, and readiness requirements to recommend appropriate instrumentation, data management, and automation system solutions timeline
- Oversee the procurement and installation of equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices
Requirements:
- B.S. Degree with 5+ years of Project Management experience
- Proven track record in managing projects, and be able to provide examples and project artifacts, i.e., Communication Plans, Project Plans, Risk Plans, etc
- Advanced understanding of the Diagnostics or Healthcare Industry with a heavy emphasis on the Laboratory Regulatory environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Project Management software such as Smartsheet
- Experience reading and interpreting floor plans and design drawings
- Ability to travel Monday-Friday, 80% nationally
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Construction and IT experience in Project Management
- PMP Certification is a plus
- Background in Medical Technology and work experience
- Familiarity with Standard Laboratory Practices, including Quality Control, record keeping, and regulatory requirements (CAP, CLIA, COLA)
