The Senior Managing Consultant – Quality Engineering Manager will lead the QA and testing strategy for Revenue Management applications, ensuring high-quality software products through structured approaches and technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall QA and testing strategy for Model N/Flex Revenue Management applications and related business processes
- Serve as the primary SME for Revenue Management systems, including pricing, rebates, chargebacks, contracts, and revenue lifecycle processes
- Establish, manage, and continuously improve the Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE), including testing standards, governance, and best practices
- Define and oversee test plans, test cases, automation frameworks, defect management, and quality metrics
- Lead end-to-end testing activities across projects, including SIT, UAT, Regression, Integration, and Production Validation Testing
- Drive test automation initiatives using AQM and UFT, improving testing efficiency, coverage, and release quality
- Collaborate with business, IT, development, and vendor teams to ensure successful delivery of Revenue Management solutions
- Provide leadership and guidance on Revenue Management custom processes, SDLC, and ADLC methodologies
- Manage internal and external audit activities, ensuring compliance with corporate controls, regulatory requirements, and documentation standards
- Drive Test Optimization: Utilize a model-based Test Design approach and accelerate Test automation using the IGNITE platform to optimize test outcomes and improve time to market
- Leverage Cognitive Tools: Apply cognitive tools and techniques to transform detection-based testing into prevention-based Quality Engineering, ensuring continuous improvement
- Develop Quality Plans: Prepare and guide the team on Quality Plans and overall Quality for the project lifecycle, emphasizing quality assurance and high-quality software products
- Analyze Metrics: Utilize integrated metrics and measurements to drive improvements and ensure high-quality software products
Requirements:
- Strong leadership experience managing QA/Test teams, Test Leads, and Testing Centers of Excellence (TCoE)
- Proven ability to engage and influence business and technology stakeholders, including senior leadership and executives
- Experience managing large-scale enterprise programs and cross-functional teams in complex environments
- Strong project management, risk management, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities
- Experience supporting and managing internal and external audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to mentor teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Expert knowledge of Model N/Flex Revenue Management systems and business processes
- Deep understanding of Revenue Management custom processes, including SDLC and ADLC methodologies
- Extensive experience leading QA and testing initiatives for Revenue Management applications
- Expertise in establishing and operating a Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE)
- Strong hands-on experience with AQM (Application Quality Management) and UFT (Unified Functional Testing)
- Experience with test automation framework design, implementation, and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of Functional, Integration, Regression, End-to-End (E2E), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Experience with defect management, root cause analysis, and quality metrics reporting
- Knowledge of data validation, reconciliation, and reporting processes within Revenue Management systems
- Experience supporting Revenue Management system implementations, upgrades, and integrations
- Familiarity with Data Analytics tools and techniques (preferred)
- Experience supporting Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) system integration and testing activities (preferred)
