Business Systems Analyst

Visio Lending is the nation’s leader in rental home financing, and they are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join their Information Technology team. This role involves driving the implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of technology platforms that power mortgage operations, while collaborating across departments to enhance customer and employee experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate client conversations for requirements gathering, creating and documenting business and/or technical requirements, and test cases to support application development, unit testing, and User Acceptance Testing
• Collaborate with clients, operations, and/or vendors to understand business requirements, with the ability to convert requirements into effective documentation
• Convert requirements into effective workflow design documentation
• Work effectively across multiple cross-functional teams such as operations, application development, product management, and key vendor partnerships
• Support quality assurance (QA) and user acceptance testing (UAT), reporting bugs or defects
• Work with internal groups and outside vendors to ensure successful and quality project completion
• Other responsibilities and duties as assigned based on business needs

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED equivalent
• 5 years of Business Analyst / Requirements Gathering experience
• 3 years of direct mortgage lending related experience
• Experience working on projects related to the mortgage loan lifecycle from Origination through Post-Closing
• Deep knowledge of the mortgage loan process with experience in origination, processing, underwriting, closing/funding, and post-closing. Topics include: Product and Pricing Eligibility, Rule's Engines, Workflow and Workflow Design, Data import/export, Familiarity with Document Imaging, Loan Fee's, Underwriting Conditions, Documents / Disclosures
• Knowledge of SDLC lifecycles, such as Waterfall and Agile
• Ability to use standard office equipment, printer, scanner, copier, fax, telephone, personal computer, and other peripheral devices
• Internal Applicants: Must meet the minimum requirements of the position and have no recent disciplinary actions
• Experience with Loan Origination System administration
• Knowledge of Secondary Mortgage Market
• Experience with FreshService, Salesforce, and AI Concepts
