Grüns is a company dedicated to providing comprehensive nutrition through their innovative gummy products. They are seeking a Product Development Manager to oversee product development execution across various launches, managing vendor relationships and ensuring timely, high-quality product delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Own packaging execution end to end — concept, manuscript, artwork, proofs, and sample cycles across every initiative you own. You lead cross-functional feedback loops and approvals and partner closely with the design team
- Drive launch execution at volume — manage the full lifecycle of limited-time offers, collabs, and retail launches including timelines, vendor coordination, R&D partnership, gummy mold development, sample testing, and cross-functional alignment. Multiple launches run simultaneously and move fast
- Own your product lines — be the go-to expert on the brands and SKUs you own. Partner with cross-functional teams to grow and support those lines over time
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships — own the day-to-day with external partners to keep timelines and quality standards intact. When things go sideways, you're the one who figures it out
- Support post-launch optimization — work with GTM and R&D to identify opportunities for formula improvements, packaging refinements, and claims updates that improve retention and customer experience
- Act as the connective tissue — across Operations, Brand, Performance, and external partners. You manage communication, flag blockers early, and drive toward decisions
Requirements:
- Has 5+ years of product development experience at a D2C or growth-stage CPG company
- Has owned packaging from concept to approval to launch, and can point to specific projects where they were the primary accountable person if something went wrong
- Has managed a high volume of simultaneous launches, not just a handful. Experience with beauty, personal care, food, or wellness CPG is welcome. If it lives on a Whole Foods shelf, the skills translate
- Has a track record of managing external vendors and suppliers through full project cycles
- Brings strong cross-functional project management skills and is comfortable driving alignment across teams they don't control
- Is proficient in Asana or a comparable project management tool
