Job Description:
Seeking an elite, production-ready Next.js / AEM Technical Lead with 8+ years of total software engineering experience to step in and rescue a high-priority web implementation project. The ideal candidate will possess 3+ years of master-level architectural experience explicitly with the Next.js App Router framework, paired with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) integration expertise. This role involves abstracting complex server-side logic to empower and unblock downstream React developers while ensuring peak server-side performance.
Key Responsibilities:
· Architectural Leadership: Own the overall Next.js project layout utilizing Next.js App Router architecture. Configure optimal rendering pathways—including Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG)—integrated seamlessly with an AEM headless/hybrid CMS platform.
· Server-Side Optimization: Design and implement highly secure caching methodologies, handle Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) policies across microservices, and configure automatic cache revalidation hooks.
· Team Enablement: Abstract complex server-side logic, API proxying, and data fetching layers into clean patterns, enabling functional UI React developers to drop in components without breaking backend flows.
· Production Pipeline Management: Configure, secure, and optimize production-grade cloud hosting infrastructure and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to guarantee deployment viability.
· Technical Ownership: Diagnose architectural blind spots, perform root-cause analysis on failing build flows, and set rigorous performance, linting, and formatting guardrails
