The Senior Operations Project Manager oversees multiple high priority projects for the Chief Medical Informatics Officer, managing all phases of the project life cycle and ensuring effective work practices across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects and operational responsibilities with limited supervision, ensuring timely monitoring, communication, and status reporting
- Lead projects from initial concept through completion, including goal definition, planning, scheduling, progress tracking, and release validation
- Evaluate project performance using appropriate tools to identify variances, implement corrective actions, and communicate outcomes to stakeholders
- Maintain accuracy of project plans by managing scope and schedule changes through established verification processes
- Oversee stakeholder engagement, including requirements elicitation, prioritization, clarification, and, when necessary, facilitation of stakeholder review and approval of technical solution requirements
- Collaborate with or without a business analyst to define analytics requirements, assess solution options, and ensure deliverables meet documented needs
- Develop proficiency in TeamHealth’s proprietary and enterprise systems and support enhancements to existing platforms as well as the implementation of new systems
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, organizational management, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, diagramming applications, collaborative technologies, and Smartsheet or willingness to learn
- Experienced working with technical teams
- Strong verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex processes
- MHA/MBA preferred but not required
- Three to five years of project management experience preferred
- PMP certification preferred but not required
