Bamboo Works is a UK-based performance marketing consultancy seeking a Business Development Representative to build a steady pipeline of qualified client opportunities. This client-facing outbound sales role involves identifying prospects, nurturing opportunities, and booking qualified meetings with decision-makers.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound prospecting through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels
- Make cold calls to targeted industries and decision-makers
- Research companies and contacts before outreach
- Follow up with warm leads generated through marketing campaigns
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects
- Qualify prospects and identify potential opportunities
- Handle objections professionally and keep conversations moving forward
- Schedule qualified meetings directly into the founder’s calendar
- Follow up consistently with prospects who are not yet ready to engage
- Work toward monthly meeting and pipeline generation targets
- Maintain accurate CRM records and activity tracking
- Manage multiple conversations and opportunities at the same time
- Share feedback from outreach conversations to improve targeting and messaging
Requirements:
- Previous experience in appointment setting, business development, lead generation, or outbound B2B sales (at least 3 years)
- Excellent spoken English with a clear, confident, and professional communication style
- Strong cold calling skills and comfort speaking with decision-makers
- Ability to build rapport quickly and hold natural business conversations
- Strong written English for LinkedIn and email outreach
- Ability to handle objections calmly and professionally
- Strong follow-up discipline and pipeline organization
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently
- Experience selling digital marketing, agency, SaaS, or professional services
- Experience working with UK-based clients or companies
- CRM experience such as HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, or similar
- LinkedIn outreach and social selling experience
- Understanding of performance marketing and lead generation services
