Cambridge Consultants, under Capgemini, is seeking talented and experienced DSP engineers to join their newly-formed Digital Signal Processing group in North America. The role involves designing and implementing advanced signal processing systems for wireless communications and other applications, aimed at providing innovative capabilities for US Government clients.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop prototype systems that demonstrate novel capabilities for a diverse range of products
- Engage with clients that are stretching the art of the possible by combining state-of-the-art signal processing theory with a practical approach to implementation on a wide variety of processing platforms
- Be involved in every stage of our technology development life cycle, from developing proof-of-concept demonstrations for initial sales leads to designing, implementing, and testing innovative new products
- Play a part in creating the Capgemini of tomorrow: contributing to new IP generation, influencing the direction or our DSP skillset development, and evolving our capabilities in groundbreaking new technologies
Requirements:
- A passion for signal processing with a desire to broaden your horizons in new and exciting areas
- MS/BS with 7+ years of experience in a field related to digital signal processing (e.g., computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, etc.)
- Good knowledge of signal processing theory and applications for communications systems
- 7+ Years experience in FPGA design, verification, synthesis, and RTL coding/simulation
- Experience with scripting and analysis tools such as MATLAB or Python
- C, C++, or Rust programming and software engineering skills
- Good testing habits: unit testing, system testing, regression testing, etc.…
- Verbal and written communication skills to convey your designs and ideas
- Ideally you will have active clearance but you must be eligible for US security Clearance, therefore you must be a US National
- Experience in embedded real-time programming
- Experience with RF or Audio test equipment
- Experience in image, audio, and/or machine learning algorithm development and implementation
- Exposure to relevant industry communications standards (3GPP, IEEE, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.)
