AZ Vac Truck Operator

Clean Harbors in Guelph, ON is seeking AZ-Licensed Equipment Operators to join our safety conscious Field Services team in Ontario! This role involves operating heavy equipment and commercial vehicles to transport, stage, and manage waste materials at customer and company sites. Responsibilities include hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling hazardous materials. The position may also require confined space entry for tank and vessel cleaning, as well as emergency response support.

 *This role is based out of our Guelph, ON head office - however, it requires flexibility to travel throughout Ontario.*

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
• Operate and transport wet vacs, dry vacs, steam trucks, and related industrial equipment.
• Perform tank/vessel cleaning and hazardous waste cleanup, including maneuvering large hoses.
• Conduct pre-/post-trip inspections and ensure safe, proper equipment operation, report issues promptly.
• Respond to emergencies involving chemical/biological spills and support routine decontamination tasks.
• Operate light/heavy equipment (pumps, vac systems, generators, bobcats) and use various hand and powered industrial tools.
• Maintain equipment and follow all safety and environmental procedures..
• All other duties as assigned. 

• Reliable transportation for daily commuting.
• Valid Class AZ driver's license with commercial driving experience and a clean driving record.
• Ability to remain clean-shaven for respirator fit testing.
• Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles, including 18-speed trucks.
• Previous vacuum truck experience is highly preferred.
• Willing to travel and work out of town for extended periods in support of emergency response operations.
• Comfortable to work in all weather conditions.
