Join Our Team as a Patient Intake Specialist I

In this role, you’ll be one of the first points of contact for patients, making a meaningful impact by providing a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth registration experience. As a trusted ambassador of Deaconess, you’ll help cultivate a nurturing environment built on courtesy, respect, empathy, dignity, and optimism.
What You'll Do:
- Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and compassion.
- Register patients accurately and efficiently.
- Collect payments in accordance with established procedures.
- Direct and escort patients to appropriate locations as needed.
- Ensure compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations, as well as hospital policies and procedures.
- Serve as an ambassador of Deaconess by fostering a positive, patient-centered experience.
Education & Experience:
- Completion of High School or GED is required.
- Knowledge of the health care revenue cycle is preferred.
- Understanding insurance is a plus.
