Work Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Dixon Quick Coupling, a division of The Dixon Group, is seeking a Purchasing Clerk to join our team in Dallas, NC! In this role, you will support procurement efforts for the Dixon Quick Coupling division. You will be responsible for monitoring factory stock levels and ordering stock. You will also prepare, review, and track purchase orders for routine shop and maintenance supplies. The purchasing clerk records data into the system and prepares reports as needed.

What You'll Do:
- Work with company software to generate forecasts and safety stock levels
- Generate accurate purchase orders for factory stock and shop supplies
- Expedite urgent orders
- Assist in finding appropriate and qualified vendors
- Work with engineering and vendors on quality issues
- Work with Accounts Payable to reconcile invoice/purchase order errors
What We're Looking for:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3–5 years of administrative experience
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong computer skills (proficient in all Microsoft Office applications)
- Strong sense of professionalism, customer service skills and a self-starter work ethic
