Lead Salesforce Developer

NTT DATA North America is a leading business and technology services provider. They are currently seeking a Lead Salesforce Developer to support a government-contracted contact center by leading the design, development, and maintenance of Salesforce solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of Salesforce solutions that support contact center operations
• Build and maintain Apex code, Lightning Web Components (LWC), integrations, and automated workflows
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with government and organizational standards
• Troubleshoot system issues and support enhancements, upgrades, and new feature deployments
• Collaborate with business analysts, program managers, and operational leaders to refine requirements
• Oversee code reviews, documentation, and adherence to development best practices
• Support release management, testing cycles, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Evaluate new Salesforce features and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and service delivery

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• Active Salesforce Platform Developer II certification (or equivalent advanced certification)
• Minimum 6 years of experience supporting Salesforce roles/responsibilities
• Minimum 3 years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, and API integrations
• Ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust clearance
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders
• Additional Salesforce certifications (Application Architect, System Architect, Integration Architect)
• Experience supporting complex Salesforce environments or multi‑cloud implementations
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git, Copado, Gearset, or Azure DevOps
• Experience supporting government programs or regulated environments
• Background in enterprise‑scale integrations or event‑driven architectures
• Knowledge of Agile development practices and cross‑functional collaboration
