Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Federal Sales Account Executive to learn and strategically manage revenue growth through Federal customers within the U.S. Federal Government. The role involves identifying and developing Federal hardware and software sales revenue, while building strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Develope, identify, and grow relationships within Agency offices, and leverage existing contracts
- Identify and build new customer base, replacing competitive products/solutions
- Continue to increase technical knowledge of the office equipment/solutions industry by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications and participating in required product certifications
- Contribute to team effort by working side by side with Canon's local dealer network, government contractors, and teaming partners to provide industry-leading service
- Respond and work with Bid team on transactional hardware opportunities advertised on ebuy or Sam.gov
- Manage and increase account base 10% YOY
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (specifically Excel)
- Working knowledge of Sales Force (or equivalent)
- Must be based in the Washington DC area, reporting to Arlington VA office
- Position will require at least 10% overnight travel throughout sales territory/HQ meetings
- Federal Government Experience or office equipment/solutions industry selling
- Experience selling into system integrators/government contractors
- Experience in Managed Print Services (MPS)
- Understanding of the Federal government procurement processes
- High Volume Production/ Central Reprographic Department (CRD) experience
