Position Summary – CORE Site Focal
Collins Aerospace is seeking a results-driven leader to support the implementation and advancement of CORE / Continuous improvement operating system as the Windor Locks CORE focal. In this role they will unify and align all critical business elements and processes into a cohesive, high-performance site and be the face of CORE for the Windsor Locks campus, working with the site’s leadership teams to effectively mature CORE culture and process. This role will report to the CORE Regional Leader for SITE CI, and the successful candidate will work closely with the CORE leadership team, Business Unit Leaders, Functional Leaders, and their regional teams to streamline operational processes, develop talent, and drive measurable improvements across their retrospective region.
Scope for this role is defined as overseeing CORE implementation across the 3 site domains in Windsor Locks and direct accountability for CORE CI for Air Management Systems.
This position is designated as on-site work. Please note: relocation assistance is available for this role.
Key Responsibilities
· Support development and execution of regional strategy and CORE Roadmap as defined by CORE Leadership team
· Lead roadmap development for the site with Site Leadership and regional teams
· Partner with CORE & Site Leadership to drive deployment and maturity of the CORE Operating System within the site.
· Provide expert guidance to enhance process maturity and support improvement.
· Apply COSMIC and other process analysis tools to identify opportunities.
· Manage team to conduct CORE Framework assessment validations, ensuring consistency for region
· Lead and support benchmarking initiatives across the enterprise.
· Train employees in CORE methodologies, tools, and best practices.
· Coach teams to strengthen overall CORE competency within site and region
· Plan and execute CORE Leadership Weeks at the site, ensuring value outcomes.
· Analyze data to identify automation opportunities and improve processes
· Collaborate with site leaders to address operational challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
· Must be willing to travel 25% of the time (International and Domestic)
Basic Qualifications
· Master’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or Advanced degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or in lieu of a degree, 8 years of relevant professional experience required.
· Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Lean and Business Process Management tools to manage CI and transformational efforts.
· At least 2 years of experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing leaders within complex, matrixed organizations.
· Minimum of 2 years delivering measurable, tangible improvements in business process environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced CORE certification (Professional or Expert level), or active progress toward certification, or Six Sigma Greenbelt certified
Demonstrated passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Strong communication, coaching, and mentoring skills with a collaborative mindset

Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
