BHG is seeking a Director, Community Partnerships & Growth to drive patient growth through the development, management, and expansion of community referral relationships across assigned markets. This role will serve as the primary relationship owner for key referral accounts and community partners, working closely with treatment center leadership to strengthen referral pathways, increase patient access, and drive admissions growth.
This role is responsible for activating and growing referral networks at the local level. Success requires a combination of account management, community outreach, business development, and operational partnership with treatment center teams.

Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Relationship Growth
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for key referral accounts within assigned markets.
- Develop and execute growth plans for strategic referral partners.
- Build trusted relationships with healthcare providers, behavioral health organizations, community agencies, employers, social service organizations, and other referral sources.
- Regularly engage referral partners to strengthen relationships, identify opportunities, and address barriers to patient access.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Community Partnership & Growth Managers across assigned markets.
- Establish clear performance expectations, growth objectives, and accountability measures.
- Conduct regular field coaching, ride-alongs, and performance reviews.
- Develop team capabilities in relationship development, referral generation, territory management, and community engagement.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and results.
Community Outreach & Market Development
- Represent BHG within the local community.
- Conduct outreach to physicians, hospitals, behavioral health providers, community organizations, recovery groups, employers, and other referral sources.
- Develop and execute local market growth initiatives.
- Increase awareness of BHG services throughout assigned territories.
Treatment Center Partnership
- Partner closely with Treatment Center Directors, Regional Directors, and clinical teams to align outreach efforts with local growth opportunities.
- Support community events, educational programs, and patient engagement initiatives.
- Help ensure treatment centers maintain strong visibility and relationships within their communities.
Admissions Growth
- Generate new patient referrals through proactive outreach and relationship development.
- Identify referral trends and opportunities to improve patient acquisition.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Strategic Partnerships teams to support growth objectives.
- Monitor referral activity and develop action plans to improve performance.
Market Intelligence
- Maintain a strong understanding of local healthcare markets and competitive dynamics.
- Provide feedback on referral patterns, community needs, market opportunities, and competitive activity.
- Help identify emerging opportunities for growth and service expansion.
- Maintain accurate referral pipeline activity and account engagement within CRM platforms.
- Ensure team adoption of CRM processes, reporting standards, and referral tracking practices.

Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare business development, provider relations, community outreach, sales, account management, or growth leadership.
- Proven track record of developing and growing referral relationships.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple functions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred
- Experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, mental health, healthcare services, or multi-site healthcare organizations.
- Experience working with healthcare providers, hospitals, community organizations, criminal justice organizations, or referral networks.
- Familiarity with outpatient healthcare delivery models and community-based growth strategies.

Base salary 130,000 - 150,000 plus bonus, depending on experience
