This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to partner and help drive overall results in our Consolidations FP&A team. The Consolidations team is responsible for Hertz financial results and partnering with Hertz leaders on financial related aspects of the business. In this fast-paced team, the Senior Financial Analyst position will work to enhance our financial insights, build financial reporting capabilities, and assist in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our financial reporting platform. The Sr. Analyst will be responsible for critical monthly analysis and processes, as well as special projects that advance the broader team’s capabilities.
What You’ll Do:
- This position will perform a key role in providing financial business analysis, decision support and thought leadership.
- Support monthly reporting, forecasting and budgeting processes for short term and long-term business planning.
- Enhance reporting capabilities within the Hyperion planning application.
- Investigate and resolve issues with data, including divisional roll-ups and cost center reporting requirements.
- Maintain and audit our financial systems for SOX and audit compliance.
- Provide timely and accurate analysis of Business Performance: Revenue, operating expense, and EBITDA impact, understanding of variances to prior forecast, annual operating plan, and prior year performance.
- Coordinate and complete monthly headcount tracking and location update processes.
- Update Hyperion planning with hierarchy changes; coordinate with COA governance committee to determine and facilitate business requirements.
- Ad-hoc analysis support for senior management.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics or a quantitative field of study
- 2+ years of FP&A, including experience with financial statements, as well as financial modeling and analysis
- Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, multi-dimensional and relational database structures; Oracle Hyperion/EPBCS experience a strong plus
- Strong sense of urgency, curiosity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations
- Flexible and adaptable; ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solution orientation – Results driven, ability to make decisions and help overcome business challenges
