Mechanical Engineer III (CFD)

Meade is a full-service design firm specializing in innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions for data centers and large-scale construction projects. They are seeking a Mechanical Engineer III with experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics to join their design team and contribute to high-profile construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Independently drive projects forward throughout design and construction phases
• Design mechanical and plumbing systems for data centers
• Oversee the production of all mechanical designs, systems and drawings
• Work amongst a cross-discipline design team, owners, and contractors to develop drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with external vendors, internal design teams and manufacturers
• Major equipment selection and scheduling

Requirements:

• 4+ years of Professional Mechanical Engineering design experience, including hands-on CFD modeling and simulation to design and optimize mechanical systems for data centers or other mission critical projects
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience working independently and managing priorities
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and energy codes
• Ability to think strategically and demonstrate flexibility in order to achieve long-range objectives
• Self-motivated, comfortable with ambiguity and motivated to work as a team
• Top-notch organization, attention to detail combined with excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, Cadence, BIM and Revit
• Valid EIT Certification or Mechanical Professional Engineer (PE) license a plus
