About this role

Chameleon Integrated Services is a growing information technology company that specializes in operations management, quality systems, data operations, and cybersecurity. They are seeking a Network Security / NAC Engineer to enhance their network security protocols and support federal IT infrastructure efforts.

Responsibilities:

Network security engineer with 6–10+ years of network security experience, including Cisco ISE or comparable NAC platforms, 802.1X deployment, role-based access enforcement, segmentation, firewall policy optimization, VPN security, secure administrative access, network logging, and vulnerability remediation
The candidate should have experience working with identity, cybersecurity, and network operations teams to enforce least privilege and Zero Trust at the network layer
NOTE: The resume should emphasize 802.1X, NAC policy design, device profiling, guest/contractor access controls, dynamic VLAN assignment, certificate-based authentication, segmentation, firewall policy review, ingress/egress filtering, MFA for administrative access, SIEM log forwarding, and remediation of unauthorized or excessive network access

Requirements:

6–10+ years of network security experience
Experience with Cisco ISE or comparable NAC platforms
Experience with 802.1X deployment
Experience with role-based access enforcement
Experience with segmentation
Experience with firewall policy optimization
Experience with VPN security
Experience with secure administrative access
Experience with network logging
Experience with vulnerability remediation
Experience working with identity, cybersecurity, and network operations teams
Ability to enforce least privilege and Zero Trust at the network layer
Certifications: CCNP Security, Cisco ISE/NAC experience, CISSP, Security+, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE, Zero Trust training, or equivalent
