About this role
Dice is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and support a secure, high-performance enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in network architecture and security platforms, particularly Illumio, Imperva, and Check Point.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support a secure, high-performance enterprise network infrastructure
- Deep expertise in network architecture, routing and switching, and advanced security platforms
- Strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on production experience, and the ability to lead complex infrastructure and security initiatives
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering within enterprise environments
- Strong expertise in core networking protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and SD-WAN
- Experience configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
- Direct experience administering and supporting: Illumio (Zero Trust micro-segmentation), Imperva (WAF and data security platforms), Check Point Firewalls (policy management, threat prevention, VPN)
- Experience with Azure networking and cloud security controls
- In-depth understanding of network security technologies including IDS/IPS, VPN, access control, and identity integration
- Experience with monitoring and policy management tools such as SolarWinds and Tufin
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and leadership skills
- Ability to operate independently while collaborating across technical and security teams in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, or equivalent preferred
